ST ALBANS SCHOOL.

Old Students’ Association Constituted.

The inaugural meeting of the Old Students’ Association of the St Albans School was held In the school on Saturday evening, Mr G. F. Allen presiding over a large attendance of past scholars, including many of the first decade.

In his opening remarks the chairman stated that the provisional committee had met on several occasions and was now prepared to submit proposals for the constitution of the association. He felt sure that there was in the past scholars of the St Albans School sufficient appreciation of the benefits they had received in the past, to build up an association that would be a source of pleasure to the members and a source of strength to those connected with the school. The annual subscription was fixed at one shilling, and it was decided to hold the annual meeting and re-union eai’ly in April of each year. The election of officers resulted as follows:—Patrorj, Mr A. E. Lawrence; vice-patrons, Miss E. Chaplin Miss C. E. Warden, Mrs R. N. Moore, Mrs H. Willis. Mrs J. Taylor, Messrs C. Hall, W. C.
