New Zealander to Occupy Advance Base. ANTARCTIC TRACTOR TRIP. United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. LITTLE AMERICA. July 22. Weather permitting, a tractor with a crew of five will proceed to the Bolling advanced base to-morrow to relieve Rear-Admiral R. E. B>wd after four months of isolation. Two meteor observers, Carl Peterson, a veteran Antarctic explorer, and Bernard Fleming, a Xew Zealander, will occupy the shack until October Admiral Byrd will return with the tractor. He is reported to be suffering with an injured arm, but it was not inaicated whether the injury was serious.
