SKI CHAMPIONSHIPS.
Grand National Meeting at Mount Cook.
Ski champions will meet at Mount Cook shortly to compete in the Grand .National championship meeting, from July 29 to August 6. This is an important event in mountaineering sports, and promises to be well attended. Specially low rates for transport and accommodation are offered. The sum of £lO 10s covers the expense of fares between Timaru and Mount Cook, just over a week’s first-class accommodation at the Hermitage, hire of skis and equipment, and? fares between the Hermitage and the Tasman Chalet, where the sports are to be held.
