“NO MORE WOMEN.”

M’Laglen and Lowe in Comedy-Drama.

Edmund Lowe and Victor M’Laglen, who made “ Sez you ! ” and “ Sez me ! ” as famous .as “ Come up and see me sometime!” are again co-starred in. the snappy comedy-drama, “No More Women.” which opened at the Majestic Theatre to-day. “No More Women,” as Tar as the title is concerned, should not be taken seriously. When these two fighting levers say

“no more women ” they mean “no more than we can handle at one time.” This time they are deep-sea divers, acemen on rival salvage tugs. Lowe is satisfied to light M’Lagien as opposition diver until he sees the pretty owner of the tug on which M’Laglen works. Then he joins the tug, and Sally Blane, the owner, has her hands full “ kidding ” two of them in place of one. At the bottom of the sea the two rowdy pals encounter rival diyers, and then follows one of the most exciting climaxes ever to come out of Hollywood. The under-water scenes are most spectacular and provide a satisfying dramatic balance for the comedy which abounds in the film. A great supporting programme includes Paramount Pictorial (the world at a glance), “ Broadway Nights.” a musical comedy, Fox Australasian News, a comedy, “ Fit as a Fiddle.” and a cartoon, “ Let’s All Sing Like the Birdies Sing ” Box plans at the D I.C.
