OBITUARY.
Joseph Bull.
The death occurred .recently, at the of seventy-four years, of Joseph Bull, who had been,a resident of Glendale for fifty-six years. He was borji at Shenley i%i -B.uckinghamf hi re and' came with his parents to sjew Zealand in 1875 in the Crusader when fifteen* years old. The family first settled at Kimberley and .in 1.878 .shifted to Greettdale, where 'later Mr Bull married and engaged -in farming. He -was a loyal supporter of the Methodist Church, hajving filled the offices of Society Stew2trd and Trustee and he .also taught in t!%fce Charing Cross Sunday School. For ,some years Mr Bull had been in failing health. The late Mr Bull is survived by a widow. The esteem ir t which Mr Bull was held was shown by the large attendance- at the funeral which took place on Thursday afternoon. The service was conducted by fthe Rev Arthur T. Kent. The were .-—-Messrs F. S. Early, G. E. Thompson, E. Ridgen and P. Broughton. A memorial ser-; vice will be held ire, the Greendale Methodist Church to-miprrow morning.
