Appointment of a successor to Mr R. Browning as secretary of the Canterbury Lawn Tennis Association will be considered at a meeting of the association next Thursday evening. Over twenty applications were received for the position and a number of individuals were selected from the list and appeared before the executive of the association, which was instructed to bring forward a recommendation for the consideration of the members of the association.
