Methodist Club.
Members of the Methodist Harrier ’ ‘V! f the eueais of the Beckenham Bible Class at a run this afternoon from the Beckenham Methodist Church. The trail was laid round the Heathcote River up to the back of the Sanatorium, down round the foot of the Cashmere Hills, and along the river bank home, a distance of five miles. Twenty runners participated in the run. F. H. Baird laid the trail. The results were: Racing pack—H. B. Ford 1, C. F. Simpson 2, S. E. Williamson 3. Fast pack—E. Cocks 1, N. Allen 2, J. Le Page 3. Presbyterian Club. In an inter-club contest with th* Baptist team, the Presbyterian Harriers held a run this afternoon from the Presbyterian Boys’ Home, Papanui. The trail was laid from Harewood Road and led through Fendalton, Russley, Harowood and home via Sawyer’s Arms Road, a distance of nine miles.
