A number of appointments were made at the meeting of the Canterbury Education Board this morning. The following appointments were confirmed:—Allenton. Miss J. E. L. Dunbier (assistant mistress): Camerons Mr J. A. Hodges (transfer): Cricklewood, Mr D. S. Loder (sole teacher); Riccarton. Mr P. H. Jones (transfer); Rokeby, Miss E. A. Mooney (assistant mistress); Ross. Miss M. O. Cox (assistant mistress). Seafield, Mrs J. R. Rob-
ert (transfer); Templeton, Miss F. H Bell (assistant mistress); Timari South, Miss E. M. Hall (assistant mistress); Turiwhate, Mr H. A. Jones (sol* teacher): Waltham. Mr O. D. Sewell (assistant master).
The following resignations were accepted;—Oxford. Miss J. 1. Champion (Hastings); Riccarton, Mr B. C. Bennev (Hornby): St Albans, Miss M. F. Brocklehurst (marriage); and Timaru Main, Miss I. J. Methven (Otago).
