July 19 A new turn has been given to the Trunk Crime No. 1 by the police issuing a description of a man who travelled from Dartfo.Ti t«> Brighton on Derbv Day with the trunk, adding that they are anxious to interview him, but he has failed to come forward, despite continuous appeals. Meanwhile a search is being made at Dartford, London Bridge and Brighton for anyone who has seen him, or travelled in his company.
