EXTENSION OF TIME.

Inquiry Into Dairying Industry. (“ Star ” Parliamentary Reporter.) WELLINGTON, July 17. The Royal Commission which is investigating the dairying industry was to report to the Governor-General by July 31, but it has now become apparent that this will not be possible and the Government has decided to grant a further extension.

The Government has also made a request that the commission should present an int rim report on certain important aspc As of its inquiry to enable legislation for Parliament to be presented at a reasonably early date.
