Takings at the municipal tepid bath for June amounted to £62 11s 7d, a decrease of £1 ISs compared with the amount for the same month last year, stated the report of the Baths Committee presented to the City Council last evening. The position was considered satisfactory considering the inclement weather. An investigation into the case of the propeller which broke in mid-air when an aeroplane was flying over the Marshland district in April, has been held by the Director of Air Services and Controller of Civil Aviation in New Zealand The propellei an Australian one, was made of maple, and well constructed, the breakage not being in any way due to the manufacture.
