AERO CLUB’S YEAR.
Hopes for Increased Progress.
The annual meeting of the Canterbury Aero Club was held last night in the Chamber of Commerce buildings. Mr J. C. Guinness (the retiring president) was in the chair, and there was an attendance of nineteen members. In moving the adoption of the report and balance-sheet, Mr Guinness said that a big growth had been experienced in the commercial operations of the club, and there were indications that these activities would continue to progress steadily. Mr D. C. Crozier, who seconded the motion, said that the balance-sheet was not as satisfactory as could be hoped, but he felt that the club’s position was improving. The year's work, too, had been very satisfactory. He looked forward confidently to a year of increased progress. The report and balance-sheet were adopted without discussion. Election of Officers.
