FAREWELL PARTY.
Mr and Mrs A. K. Anderson Honoured. A farewell party for Mr A. K. Anderson, headmaster of St Andrew’s College, and Mrs Anderson was given on Saturday evening by Mrs A. J. Dunn, at her home in Rolleston Avenue. Mr Anderson will leave next month on a short trip to England, and during his absence Mrs Anderson and Miss Beverly Anderson will visit relatives in Dunedin. They will join Mr Anderson later in Sydney, where they will make their new home. Blue and white, the colours of St Andrew’s College, had been skilfully introduced by Mrs Dunn in the decorative scheme for the part}'. A large cake with the dates 1919-1934, the duration of Mr Anderson’s term at St Andrew’s, occupied pride of place on the supper table.
Those present were: Mr and Mrs Anderson, Dr and Mrs H. G. Denham. Dr and Mrs D. E. Hansen, Professor and Mrs E. Percival, Mr and Mrs Percy Barnes, Mrs Lutton-Oarter, Miss Doreen Might, Mr R. J. Richards. Mr S. R. Cuming and Mr 11. E. Solomon.
