CANTERBURY REGIMENTS. llow many of the men of our old regiments have bought their histories? Perhaps when they were published you thought they were too dear. Well, now is your chance. There are not a great many copies left, but what are left are being sold for only a fraction of the old price. The History of the Canterbury Regfment, 3 914-19, by Captain D. Ferguson, was 12s Gd, but now is ss, and Bowles’ " History of the Canterbury Mounted Rifles, 1914-19.” was 10s 6d, but now 2s Gd. So do not miss whichever History you are interested in. NEW ZEALAND SHIPPING. Almost everyone is interested In the sea and its ships. Of more interest to us in New Zealand is the romance of our own steamers which have traded in our waters. Will Lawson, one of the ablest writers in Australia or New Zealand, has written a full account of these steamers In his book, “Pacific Steamers.” It Is an illustrated account of Australian and New Zealand steamers and previously sold for 245. but is now being sold at the low price of 11s a copy.
