PRIVATE DANCE.
Mr and Mrs W. H. Clark Entertain.
ENGAGEMENT ANNOUNCED. Mr and Mrs W. H. Clark entertained a number of .friends last evening at a dance at their home, Bealey Avenue, in honour of the engagement of their daughter, Margaret, to Mr N. G. Nor-bert-Munns. Mrs Clark received her guests wearing a becoming gown of Cossack blue lace with a matching coatee. Her daughter wore a pretty frock of pastel pink French lace. Dancing was held in the spacious dance room, which was effectively decorated with chrysanthemums and narcissi. Vases of narcissi were used also on the supper tables in the dining room.
