Otago Union Favours Junior Representative Match.

DUNEDIN, July 3
The Otago Rugby Union has approved Qanterbury’s proposal to send a second grade representative team to Dunedin to play the Otago juniors as a curtain-raiser to the Otago-Canter-fixture on August 11. The union has decided to suggest September 1 as the date for the Payne Trophy match. College House Team. A football team representing College House left for Dunedin this morning, on their way to play their annual’ match -Selwyn House to-mor-row afternoon. A. H. Andrews, the Varsity captain and South Island representative, was not fit to travel. The team was as follows: K. C. West-Watson, F. Kirkcaldie, J. W. Rolleston, D. M. Walter, 11. G. Norris. O. P. Gabites. T. J. Williams, P. E. Bridges, D. N. Allen, K. Nanson, D. A. Hudson. F M. Hilgendorf, I. O. Stace, G. Bogle, A. A. Deans, A. J. Hull and C. Johnston. Town v. Country.
In the list of players for the town team to play the country to-morrow. P. G. Robertson (Varsity) replaces H. Deavoll (Merivale) as an emergency.
