UNION JACK SOCIAL CLUB.
The Union Jack Social Club held a most successful dance in the Stanley Street Hall, Sydenham, last Saturday night. The room was gaily decorated with streamers and lanterns. The supper arrangements were in the capable ! hands of Mrs Etwell assisted bv ladies j of the club. Mr Etwell was M.C. A| monologue was given by Mr Etwell, ! and Mr George Thomas with his banjo • rendered old time melodies. Those present included Mr and Mrs } Black, Mr and Mrs Sollib, Mr and Mrs J Etwell Mr and Mrs Daienny, Mr and Mrs Scrobv, Mr and Mrs Mullord, Mesdames Morrian, Davies, Anderson, Pegrell, Martin, T. Jackson, Scobie, Whitelaw L. Barnes, R. Baker, L. Edmonds, M. Archer, L. llobern, Misses Joyce Coyle, Gladys Reeves, Mona Perkins, Joyce Pearce, Sadie Kerr, Rhona Ervine, Mavis Rhodes-Thomas (Auckland), Mory Knowles (Auckland), Winnie Rhine, Tosie Marks, Gladys Musson. Rene Bull, Irene Tullon, Ma«vis Cooke, Lyla Gibbons, Joy Kirk, Joan Ellis, Billie Sevis, Grace Willis, Edith Rae, Dorothy Rae, Alice Woolcock and Marjorie Huon.
