Mrs T.—-Shooting stars were seen in Eng land on November 30, 1866. The display was caused by bodies moving on the orbit of Temple’s comet. The same bodies caused a display on November 12, 1799. and in 1833. Wager.—Mouat was found guilty of the manslaughter of his wife on August 27. 1925. He was sentenced to seventeer years’ imprisonment with hard labour or August 31, 1925.

Dear Sir,—Having noticed a newspaper report that rabbits were breeding freely and were on the increase near Christchurch, I now write to inquire whether any of your readers can advise me as to where these rabbits are to be found. I have endeavoured to locate rabbits near Christchurch, but the only rabbit shooting that I can find is 35 miles away.—l am, etc., SPORTSMAN.
