Meeting of Management Committee. Mr L. >F. N. Ward presided at the meeting of the Management Committee of the CatiVoVoni-y Hockey Association held last evening. Invitations from Southland and South Canterbu'v to send teams to Invercargill and Tin.aru respeotivelv were held over till next meeting. Players able to make either trip are requested to notify Mr H. Rogers. The r.lere. at Kaiapoi reported that Iho Sydenham and Rcdcliffs third grade B lea-ms had failed to attend at their matches at Kaiapoi last. Saturday. It was decided to write to both clubs a?KTng Tor reasons. The Now Zealand Association advised that September 1 had been the date set down for the match. Australia v. Canterbury, at Christchurch.
