“ Footlight Parade.”
“ Fcotlight Parade.” a spectacular mus ical comedy in which Ruby Keeler, Dick Powell, James Cagney and Joan Blondell are featured, will open at the Plaza Theatre next Saturday. Busbv Berkeley, who creates the choruses and dance ensembles for all Hollyw’ood’s bjg musical pictures, including those made by Eddie Cantor, is said to have excelled himself in “ Footlight Parade.” In this film he has worked to the unu uallv catchy song numbers written by Harry Warren and A 1 Dubin, and Sammy Fain and Irving Kahl.
