The atmosphere of good fellowship which was a feature of Gracie’s previous triumphs, is fully maintained in this entertaining show There is nothing spectacular in the surroundings created for the background, but the story is told effectively and without any striving for the unu ual The Lancashire comedienne is undoubt edly at her best, and she has the assistance of a talented supporting cast. Five songf are sung by Gracie Fields in her own appealing style. The supporting programme is varied and entertaining.
