GRAMOPHONE RECITAL.

Mr C. H. Hewlett Entertains W.E.A. Students.

At the fortnightly meeting of the Workers’ Educational Association at the Trades Hall on Saturday evening Mr C. H. Hewlett, of the Canterbury (N.Z.) Seed Company, presented a programme of selected classical music. He was welcomed by Mr G. Manning, who said that Mr Hewlett had earned the gratitude of the association annually for the past ten years with his much-appreciat-ed records of some of the world’s greatest musicians. The members of the music study circle, which had been in existence for fourteen years, especially looked forward to Mr Hewlett's programmes. The programme rendered was: "Red, Red Rose’’ (Cctftenet).
