NAMES FOR NEW SHIPS.
LONDON, May 15. The vessels for the proposed service to Europe of W. R. Carpenter, Ltd., will be renamed Rabaul and Salamoa. In the sailings at ten-weekly intervals, they will call at Salamoa, Madang, Kavieng and Rabul. The vessels, it is claimed, will be the first privately-owned ships to carry cargo from Australasia to Britain wholly financed by Australian capital
