WEDDING.

Celebrated at Hari Hari South Westland. SILVER—GRAHAM. The wedding of Miss Eva Jean Graham, second daughter of Mr John Graham, Hari Hari, to Mr A. M’Gregor Silver, of Scotland, which took place recently at the Hari Hari church, aroused considerable interest among the residents of South Westland, where the bride’s family is well known. The ceremony was performed by the Rev Mr Dewar (Ross), and Mrs Peter Graham was the organist. The bride was given away by her father. She wore a long frock of white windswept velvet, made on simple lines, and a veil arranged from a lace cap. Her bouquet was of white flowers. She was attended by her two sisters, the Misses Margaret and Isabel Graham. Their white frocks of net lace and georgette were worn with white felt hats. Both attendants carried bouquets of pink flowers to tone with their rose crystal necklets, which were gifts from the bridegroom. The bride’s godson. Master Stephen Graham, who acted as page, wore kilts of the Graham tartan. Mr J. Engholt was best man, and Mr J. Graham, jun., was groomsman. After the ceremony, Mr and Mrs J. Graham entertained a large number of friends at their home. For travelling the bride wore a Lido blue suit with a blue and white checked silk jumper, a tweed coat, and a felt hat to tone.
