Lou Brown, a New Zealander, who is a three-quarter attached to the York League Club, is detained in hospital with a deep wound in the throat. Ilis condition is reported to be serious. There has been some talk of his j permanent return to New Zealand, but I the York League Club directors say 1 that they were unaware of it, though | they offered no obstacle to a visit (on vacation) to his parents.
