Mataroa Delayed by Weather Conditions. The Shaw, Savill and Albion Company’s liner Mataroa. from London, which was due at Wellington at 2.30 p.m. to-day, has been further delayed by adverse weather conditions and is now expected to reach Wellington at 9 p.m. She will now arrive at Lyttelton on Saturday. The Karetu could not complete unloading last night and had to remain in port, overnight. The intercolonial steamer Wainui was the only arrival at Lyttelton this morning besides the Rangatira. OPIHI is expected to return here on June 1 to load for Nelson and New Plymouth. WINGATUI is due from Auckland, via Wellington, on Tuesday with Auckland cargo. The vessel Is to proceed to Dunedin the same day. WAIKOUAITI. from Timaru. is due here to-morrow to discharge coal from Newcastle, general Australian cargo from Sydney and transhipments. She is to leave for Bluff about Monday. NGAHAU left Lyttelton early this morning for Pigeon Bay and Kaiapoi. On Saturday the. vessel is expected to leave Kaiapoi for Wellington with a load of potatoes. TAUPATA should arrive here to-mor-row from Tarakohe with cement. The vessel will load at this port for Nelson, Mapua and Mottreka.

GALE is now expected on Tuesday from Timaru to load for Wellington. Wanganui and New Plymouth. BREEZE returns to Lyttelton tomorrow from Timaru to load for Wellington, Picton and Wanganui. TEES returned from Wellington yesterday afternoon and will lay up for about six weeks.
