(Received May 24. 1.5 p.m.) LONDON, May 23. | A round-the-world amateur yacht race from England will start in August, competing craft touching at Cape 1 Town, Wellington, the Marquesas and Galapagos, Panama, Bermuda, the Azores and then home. The voyage j should occupy nine months. Auxiliary ‘ engines will be permitted. The pro- i posal originated with Mr Erling !• Tambs, the Danish yachtsman, whose ‘ cruise from the North Sea ended with a wreck in the South Seas.
