Exchange of Preferences Endorsed. United Press Assn. —By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. (Received May 25, 12.40 p.m.) CANBERRA, May 24. Mr Lyons, the Prime Minister, said that the United Australia Party would strongly endorse the proposal of Dr Earl Page that preferences be exchanged by the United Country Party and the United Australia Partv if there were triangular contests at the forthcoming Federal election.
