AN ANNIVERSARY.
Yesterday marked the fiftieth anni versary of the commencement of business in Dunedin of the D.I.C. It is interesting to note that three persons who started work with the D.I.C. when it first opened are still in the Dunedin store. Fifty years have seen the development of one store into an organisation of drapery houses spreading over both North and South Islands.
