PORT OF LYTTELTON. Shipping Further Delayed by Rain. A heavy downpour was experienced during the forenoon at Lyttelton, causing a further delay to vessels in port. The Poolta has been in port since Friday. There were three overseas vessels in port to-day, and four coastal ships. STORM is expected here from the south on Wednesday to load for Wellington, Picton and Wanganui. FOXTON should arrive here about Wednesday from the north to load for Foxton direct. GALE was at Lyttelton to-day to load for Bluff, Dunedin and Timaru. The vessel should return towards the end of the week to load for Wellington, Wanganui and New Plymouth. OREPUKI, which arrived on Saturday evening from Tarakohe, will discharge cement and then load for Nelson, Westport and Greymouth. AWAHOU, which is due here from Gisborne at any time, will load for Waikokopu, Tolaga Bay, Tokomaru Bay and Hick’s Bay. HOLMDALE. unless delayed at Oamaru to-day. should arrive here tomorrow, via Timaru, to load for Wellington, Picton and Wanganui. PARERA is expected on Friday from the south to load for Nelson. Wanganui, New Plymouth and Waikato. ABEL TASMAN is expected to arrive here about Thursday to discharge and load Australian cargo. WAIMARINO is scheduled to arrive here j on Wednesday frpni Bluff, via Dunedin, Oamaru and Timaru. OPIHI may arrive to-morrow from the south to load for Nelson and New Plymouth. SHEAF CROWN. The chartered steamer Sheaf Crown will now replace the Port Hardy, which was to leave New York on Mav 19 for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin. She is of 4568 tons gross, and belongs to the Sheaf Steam Shipping Company. Built in 1929, she and the Sheaf Holme, a sister ship, are the newest vessels of the line. WIRELESS NOTICE. The following vessels are expected to be within range of the undermentioned wireless stations to-night:— Auckland—Deebank. Fife.
