Minister Discusses Wharf Trouble.

At a meeting of the Citizens’ Unemployment Relief Committee this morning. a letter \yas received from the Minister of Labour (the Hon Adam Hamilton) stating that he had received the committee’s letter drawing attention to the trouble experienced at Lyttelton and suggesting that if the attitude taken by the waterside wo. 1 .:- ers was peisisted in arrangements should be made for the work to be undertaken by relief labour. The Minister added that he v/as pleased to have the views of the '--m----mittee and had to reply that the position was being cure fully watched. Certain steps had already been taken with a view to overcoming the difficulty and upon the results of those would depend the course of subseq’ _nt action.
