MOTORIST CHARGED.

Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, May 2. A sequel to a motor accident at Glenside, near Johnsonville, on January 13 was heard in the Magistrate's Court today, when Cyril John Steer was

charged with negligently driving a motor-lorry, thereby causing the deatn of George Kermodc. Accused was further charged with failing to stop, render assistance and report to the nearest police station. After evidence had been heard he was committed for trial at the next sessions of the Supreme Court.
