Mrs Maurice Fell and Miss Ann Fell Wanganui, are visiting Christchurch Mrs M. Macfarlane, Wellington, is visiting Christchurch. Mr and Mrs Noel Roake have returned to Christchurch from Hawke’s Bay. Mrs A. S. Elworthy, Holme Station, has returned from a visit to Christchurch. Guests at Warwick House include Mr and Mrs Harry Menzies, of Decanter Bay, and Mrs Millton, Orari. Mrs Brian Trolove, Parikawa, Kaikoura, is the guest of her mother, Mrs W. Hislop, Easdale Street, Wellington. Mr and Mrs R. J. Cunningham, K>kcrangu, are visiting Mrs Cunningham’s mother, Mrs Gowing, Chester Street West. Mrs T. W. Satterthwaite, Elizabeth Street, Timaru, who has been visiting Wellington and Christchurch, has returned home. Mrs Charles Buchanan, who was the guest of Mrs W. li. Walton, Park Lane, Timaru, has returned to Christchurch. Mrs Edwin Haines and children, Seaview, Okains Bay, are the guests of Mrs G. Z. Pocock, Western Valley, Little River. Mrs H. Easterbrook Smith. Christchurch, is the guest of Mrs W. Usher, Crawford Road, Wellington. Mrs Rudolph Sprott, a niece of the Bishop of Wellington, and a resident missionary at Bugotu, British Solomon Islands, is on furlough, and is staying at Bishopscourt, Wellington. Miss Melzie Johnston has returned to Auckland, after a long visit to the South Island, where she was the guest of her sister, Mrs A. Warnes, of Greymouth. Mrs Hamilton Price and her two children, who are staying at North Beach, will leave Wellington for England by the Tainui on May 29. Prior to their departure they will visit Auckland. The Rev and Mrs S. Glanville, of the China Inland Mission, have left China on furlough, which w r ill be spent in England and New Zealand. They expect to arrive in New Zealand about next Christmas. Mrs Herbert Elworthy, Craigmore, is the guest of Mrs Beauchamp Lane Fendalton. for a few days after a visit to Wellington, where she farewelled her daughter. Mrs David Williams, who left for England with her husband by the Akaroa. Miss Marie Moffat, a well-known pianist from Palmerston North, who has recently returned from England and Australia, arrived in Christchurch this morning, and is the guest of Mrs T. T. Armstrong, Holmwod Road. Miss Moffat will be heard from 3YA to-mor-row evening, and next week will go to Dunedin to broadcast there.
