EGG PRICES UP AGAIN.

Fish Cheaper Through Ample Supplies Being Available.

SHIPMENT OF ISLAND ORANGES

Eggs, especially duck eggs, are still ; very scarce because of the moulting | season, and prices have shown a fur- \ ther rise of up to 2d a dozen during the J week. First grade are now 2s 2d, with j duck eggs at 2s. The scarcity is ex- j pected to be relieved within a week or j two. Fish is in plentiful supply and prices have eased somewhat. A new shipment of Island oranges has arrived and they are selling retail at five and six for Is. Quotations are:— Meat. Mutton— Per lb.
