TIMARU SOCIAL NOTES.
Mrs and Miss Armitage, Ireland, have left for Geraldine, after staying with Miss Nancy Howell, Ranui, Grey Road. Mrs Bonnette, Nelson Terrace, is visiting her daughter, Mrs James Young, New Plymouth. Mr and Mrs C. Ronaldson, Christchurch, the Misses Banks and Mr R. L. Banks, Oamaru, are the guests of Mrs A. Grant, Aigantighe, Wai iti Road. Mrs V. Hitchings, Otorahanga, North Island, returned yesterday from a visit to her mother, Mrs Howley. Coolavin, Sefton Street. Dance at Cr&igmore.
The employees of Craigmore gave a delightful dance evening in honour of Miss Josephine El worthy, whose marriage to Mr David Williams took place this week. The room was beautifully decorated with streamers and greenery and Mr Brooks, on behalf of the employees, presented Miss El worthy with a silver tea service and wished her every happiness. Mr Herbert Elworthy replied on behalf of his daughter.
