Review of Form for Country Meeting. LIKELY CANDIDATES. Riccarton gallopers will not be racing as near home again this season as they will be at Amberley to-morrow. Fields in two, perhaps three, events will be small, but in the other live races the acceptances give promise of numerous starters. Dollar Prince led and finished third in the Doncaster Handicap six furlongs, at Washdyke. He ’won the C.J.C. Papanui Handicap, six furlongs, on April 2. With Mackinnon up, he will have the benefit of a 51b allowance to-morrow. Spoon has not raced since running unplaced at Ashburton on December 2. Quietly won each of his three races at the Greymouth Easter meeting. The distances were six furlongs and a half (twice) and a mile. In one of the shorter races Wise Choice was second, receiving 141 b. Wise Choice had had two previous races at the meeting over six furlongs and a half, registering a third and a first. Colossian won the six furlong Trial Plate at Waimate last week. He is a stable-mate of Quietly, but is in different ownership. Dollar Prince may be favourite with strong support, also, lor Quietly. 2.40 p.m. G B. STARRY HANDICAP, of 130 sovs. One mile and a quarter.

At Riccarton at Easter, Tout le Monde was sixth in the Autumn Plate, one mile and a quarter, and fifth in' the Great Autrmn Handicap, one mile and a half. Silver Sight has had a lot of racing this season, but stands up to it well. He won over a mile and a quarter at Waimate last week, and was third with 9.1 in the Rosewill Hack, one mile and thirty-five vards, at Washdyke, to Rebel Star 8.10 and Grand Review 7.9. Cleaner was second to Some Shamble in the Waimate Cup With 8.11 she was seventh in the Rosewill Hack at Washdyke. Strong Light with 7.11 was second to Cleaner 7.12 in the mile C.J.C. Addington Handicap on April 3. She made no show in the Rosewill Hack. Drumfire is referred to under the Brackenfield High-Weight. Importance was not in the first eight in the C.J.C. Autumn Plate, one mile and a quarter, but finished eighth in the Addington Handicap. Grand Re view was third in the Autumn Plate, seventh in the Addington, and, finishing well, second in the Rosewill last Saturday. High Rank was not in the first eight in the Autumn Plate but was third in the Addington and fourth in the Rosewill Hack. Sky Rover lirc l over a mile and a quarter at the Greymouth Easter meeting, and second over a mile at Reefton. Star Raider was another well back in the Autumn Plate, but he was fifth in the Addington. He lost his chance at the start in the Rosewill Hack. He was second over a mile and a quarter and oyer a mile at Waimate.
