COST OF LIVING BONUS.

Advice has been received by the Christchurch branch of the Superannuated Public Servants’ Association that Cabinet has aporoved the continuation of the cost of living bonus for a further period of six months on the same conditions as formerly, the bonus to be granted only in cases of hardship. The cost of living bonus, which was brought into force some years ago when the cost of living rose, is payable to superannuated public servants receiving pensions of £BO a year or less.
