BOWLING.

Presentation Made. During the interval of the friendly matches played on the Sumner green this afternoon, the competition Pennant and Manning Cnp were presented to the president of the Sumner Bowling Club (Mr T. IT. Newburgh) by the president of the Canterbury Centre, Mr F. D. Muirson. Congratulations were also conveyed by Mr T. T. Middleton, the president of the New Brighton Club. The Sumner Club has won the Pennant on two previous occasions, during the 1921-22 and 1924-25 seasons. This record is only equalled by the Canterbury Club.
