GIFT TO DOMAINS BOARD.

Advice was received at yesterday’s meeting of the Christchurch Domains Board that the board’s former curator, the late Mr James Young, had bequeathed to it all his books and other publications and drawings on the subjects of forestry and gardening. The chairman, Mr H. Kitson, said that Mr Young possessed some very valuable literature, which was at present being sorted out by the present curator (Mr J. A. M’Pherson). It was decided to place on record appreciation of the gift.
