EX-KAISER’S LETTER.

Nazi Declares It High Treason. Count Ernst Zu Reventlow, one of Chancellor Hitler’s senior lieutenants, declared in his newspaper recently that former Kaiser Wilhelm committed nothing less than high treason against Germany by a recent letter. Count Reventlow’s declaration was made in his weekly’ newspaper “Reichswart,” which is devoted to Hitlerism and the Germanic cult. With his statement is printed what is called a message by the former Kaiser, now in exile in Doom, Holland. The Kaiser’s letter, it is said, was dated November 22, 1933, and was sent to the Bavarian section of the National Federation of German Officers in response to a message of fidelity from the organisation. The letter, as printed, said in part: “ I have gladly taken cognisance of your message., and I am convinced that every old officer will do everything within his power to give evidence of his lo\’alt>’ by manly deeds. “ Only under its Kaiser and the German Federated Princes can the Reich permanently' be established and restored to its former power and glory'. “ Therefore, forward with God for king and fatherland, for the Kaiser and the Reich.”
