Decisions of Licensing Authority. A meeting of the Christchurch Metropolitan Licensing Authority was held yesterday afternoon, Mr E. H. Andrews presiding. Associated with him were Messrs F. T. Evans and J. S. Barnett. An application was made by the Inter-City Motor Service, Ltd., for an amendment to the time-table during the winter months as from April 15, the alteration to apply only between the hours of 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. with slight alterations to times during the evening. The application was granted. This will mean a reduction of three trips daily. L. Laugeson and Son made an application for a new passenger service license over a circular route ranging from the city to Papanui Road, Sawyer’s Arms Road, Harewood Road Burnside Road and Fendalton Road. An application for a single fare of 9d and Is 3d return was also made. The application was granted, the license to apply on Mondays to Thursdays at 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. and on Fridays at 2 p.m., 6 p.m. and 10.45 p.m. The first setting down place on the outward journey was fixed at the railway crossing or Sawyer’s Arms Road and the last picking up place Ilam or Webb’s Roads.
