WORK OF ARCHITECTS.

The monthly meeting of the Christchurch Architectural Association was held on Saturday, Mr T. R. Evans presiding. The designs for the monthly competitions (senior, a sky sign; junior, the back offices of a house) were criticised by the assessor (Mr G. G. Calvert), who was accorded a vote of thanks. The results of the competitions were: Senior. R. C. Munrn 1; junior, H. S. Stewart 1. IC. B. Wells 2. Mr R. A. Campbell then gave a lecture on the structural design iof the new State Fire building, illusI trating his talk with a number of slides.
