Protest Against Cut in Diet and Allowance. United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. CALCUTTA, April 7. The danger of wholesale leprous infection developed in Allahabad when 500 lepers walked out from the asvlum, three miles from the city, as a protest against the reduction of their allowance and diet. They threaten to enter the crowded city if their demands are not met. It is expected that the authorities will have to agree.
