Auckland Secondary Schools’ Tourney.

Per Press Association AUCKLAND, ApriT 8. Several records were made and one equalled at the annual secondary schools’ sports. E. Wordsworth (Sacred Heart) did 2min 2 ;i-ssec for the senior half-mile, beat ins the record by 1 1-5 sec. A. J. Sayers (Auckland Grammar) covered *l4 Oyds in 51 2-sseo, or 4-s«ec better than the previous record. This time is considered a New Zealand schools’ record. R. B. Cruickshank (Auckland Grammar.) beat the high jump record by 3in, leaping sft 7in. In the mile F. E. Watt (Auckland Grammar), who runs with a crippled right arm in a sling, reduced the record by llsec, doing 4min 33 S-ssec.
