LINWOOD KINDERGARTEN.

The monthly meeting of the North Lmwood Free Kindergarten was held >n the school hall on Thursday last. Those present were: Mesdames T S (in the chair), F\ Smith W s' Grigg, T. J. Holloway, C. N. K Maokie an s JT Powep . Alessrs W. S. Oriefcand E. Sorrell. Sympathy was exv>re«K ed with Airs W. Retallick, who was absent through illness. Ac£i Vot< t of thank « was passed to Air Ashley for organising a concert, the sum of £3 being raised. Several aeCO li^l ts were Passed for payment. The attendance had been poor owing to the measles being prevalent In the district, and the kindergarten had been closed. The harvest, festival took place on Tuesday. Alarch 27. A produce stall was held, £1 14s being raised.
