WELLINGTON, April 9 Rales oolworth (X.Z.). ord., £5 12s 6d; Bank of Australasia, £l3 2s 6d. POULTRY AXTX> EGGS. The Canterbury Co-op. Poultry Producers, Ltd., report that at Wednesday’* and Friday’s sales, heavy yarding* of poultry were auctioned. Boilers showed ay increased value on previous sales. Yearling hens were in keen demand, and realised up to 5s 3d. Light chicken are at present coming forward in large quantities, and the values have eased somewhat. Prices were: Chicken—Heavy (in good demand), to 8s 9d per pair; medium to 6s 6d; light, best to 4s. Hens— Heavy to 6s; light (good demand), to 4s. Ducks and ducklings—The supply exceeded the demand, and the values dropped slightly. 6
