HEALTH RETURNS.
There were only five cases of infectious diseases notified in Canterbury in the week ended at noon to-day. and the West Coast had a clean bill of health. The cases were as follows: Scarlet fever 1, diphtheria 1, tuberculosis 1, puerperal sepsis 1, septic abortion 1. There was one death from sep- « tic abortion in Canterbury.
