CALEDONIAN SOCIETY.
A cred“ balance of £25, after payment of £2OO off mortgages, was revealed at the annual meeting of ‘he Can—terburv Caledonian Society last evening. ,The president (Mr C, S. Thomas) presided over an attendance of about thirty members. The Hon D. Buddo complimented the secretary (Mr W. G. Rrass) on the balance—sheet. which reflected his hard work during the year. Officers were elected as follow: Patron, the Governor—General (Lord Biedlsioe): president, Mr C. S, Thomas; vice-presidents. Messrs \V. Edginton. B. Moore. R. H. Rankin, G. Sey; direvzors. Messrs F. 0. Neate. L. Cnx, A. Macquarrie, R. \V. Milne. J. Berry and A. Scott: secretary and treasurer, Mr \V. G. Brass; auditor, M: J. Mawson Stewart. Opening night was fixed for April 18. Votes of thanks wele passed to. the president. the various committees and to. the band for their work.
