WESTMINSTER HOSPITAL.

Will Move to New Site Shortly. British Official Wireless. RUGBY, April 4. Westminster Hospital, one of the oldest and, owing to its position opposite Westminster Abbey, perhaps the best known in London, will shortly be vacated. In response to an appeal for £IOO.OOO for the purchase of a site for a new building, the sum of £106,731 has been raised in five months, 6000 donors contributing. As a result of an appeal on behalf of the fund broadcast by the Lord Chancellor, Lord Sankey, £8127 was received. A loan of £220,000 will be raised for a new building, which will incorporate the latest developments in hospital design and apparatus, after a report received from a mission which will inspect the most modern European hospitals. Particular attention will be given to minimising delay in dealing with out-patients.
