To-day’s Recipe.

1 cup oatmeal. 2 tablespoons flour. 2 tablespoons cornflour. i cup brown sugar. 1 teaspoon baking soda. f cup melted butter. 2 tablespoons boiling water. 2 tablespoons treacle. Mix flour, cornflour, oat* and sugar well. Dissolve soda in boiling water, add melted butter and treacle, and add to dry ingredients and mix well. Place in small toaspoonfuls on well-greas«d slides (well apart, as they spread). Bake in slow oven until nicely browned.
